Corner cutting technique
In products such as namecard, label, brochure, catalogue... people often use die-cutting techniques to reduce corners, enhancing aesthetics.
The types of corners in die-cutting are created according to a mold with standard sizes ranging from small to large. Since this technique is done by machine, the corners are cut precisely, creased on the product. There are 2 standard corner sizes: 2 mm and 5 mm.
The advantages of die-cutting are that the corners are processed beautifully, quickly, conveniently, and cost-effectively. However, compared to the method of rounding corners according to molds, there are limitations due to the mold design of the corners being limited, and the die-cutting edges may not be as sharp and precise as designed.
